MTN on Demand (*904#)
The on-Demand service provides
mobile customers a convenient means to purchase Airtime directly from their mobile
phones linked to their respective banks. This serves as an additional channel for
buying airtime.
To be able to buy MTN airtime through the MTN ON DEMAND
service, you need to be;
1. A registered and active Mobile subscriber.
2. The customer must have a funded account with any one of the partner
banks
The Short code is zero rated. You
are not charged to access the service
All you need to do is meet the
requirements specified above. The question is, how do i use this service?
1. Step 1:Dial *904*AMOUNT# on your phone
and follow the prompt
2. Step 2:You would receive a prompt with
details of the transaction
3. Step 3:You then click “Ok” to authorize
payment
4. Step 4:You finally get an SMS
notification of transaction
After you
complete the transaction by dialing *904*AMOUNT#;
1. You receive a notification of successful
transaction from MTN
2. You receive a notification from your bank on the
debit in your account
3. Your Airtime account is credited with the amount
you specified.
There is no minimum amount limit that
you can buy on the service.
But there
is a daily limit of NGN 3,000.00 for the buy airtime transaction. How can one check His balance?
1.On the MTN Network Dial *556# shortcode
to check your airtime balance.
2.Or use the MTN Service by dialing
*123*1*3# to view your airtime account balance
Note also that your account balance is shown at the end of
the SMS sent after every transaction performed.
For you to enjoy this service?
1.
You must be a registered MTN subscriber
with an active MTN line.
2.
Ensure you Fund your preferred bank account
before accessing the service.
And if your air time is not credited and your bank account was debited, pleasecall your bank’s customer service or call 180 and log your complaint. And there is no fee attached to buying airtime directly from your bank account.
