 To subscribe for this service on MTN Nigeria network any of the channels can be used:

Revised MTN Pulse

MTN Pulse tariff plan is a prepaid tariff plan that allows you enjoy FLAT rate of 12k/sec for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks in Nigeria after the first 90 seconds call of the day is charged at 27k/sec. With MTN Pulse, “You Talk more, Laugh more and Love more”. This service is available only to prepaid customers.

You will enjoy the following benefits when you are on MTN Pulse:

1.    Flat rate of 12k/sec for calls ACROSS ALL local Networks after spending 27k/sec on the first 90 seconds call of the day.

2.   Special Data Bundles:  

§  750MB 3-days data plan @300

§  1.5GB Weekly data plan @500

3.    Pulse Nightlife Bundles (250MB Pulse Nightlife bundle for N25 and 500MB Pulse Nightlife bundle for N50) up to 2GB.

4.   Special Instagram/TikTok/Youtube bundles: 350MB Instagram/TikTok/Youtube bundle or 100 and 1GB Instagram/TikTok/Youtube bundle for 200.

Migration into Pulse is free. However, if it is your subsequent migration within 30 days then you will be charged 102. However, You will NOT be charged for migrating to Pulse tariff plan whenever you buy the Pulse Special Bundles, Pulse Nightlife Bundles or Special Instagram/TikTok/Youtube Bundles from other tariff plans.

myMTN App




You can purchase data from myMTN App even when you run out of data or you are outside data network coverage.

Is it possible to use the App when out of Data? Yes. The experience is same as when the customer has data. There is a daily ‘zero-data access’ limit that allows the customer use myMTN App.


What if the subscriber is out of network coverage, can he still access myMTN App? Yes. When offline (out of data network coverage), customer will be defaulted to the myMTN Lite version.
On the Lite version, when the customer clicks to buy Data or Airtime, the customer is redirected to the applicable USSD code to make purchase.

MTN XTRA CASH

MTN XtraCash is a service that allows eligible customers access short term micro credit loans via a USSD platform from their phones. This service will not be available to all customers it will be available ONLY to eligible prepaid customers who are Diamond Yello Account holders. And a customer can check if he/she is eligible by dialing *606# to access the Xtracash USSD menu.
Balance can be checked by dialing *606#. An individual can borrow either N5,000 or N10,000 based on eligibility and the Xtracash loan amount would be credited into his/her Diamond Yello Account. There is a fee for this service with an interest rate of 15% that is applicable to the service.
The Xtracash service has a maturity period of 30days. A customer has to pay up all outstanding Xtracash loans to be eligible to use the service again. In addition, a customer can borrow Xtracash as many times as possible as long as he/she has no outstanding Xtracash loan obligation.
For the customer to make initial payments before maturity date he/she can repay through the “REPAY XTRACASH” On the menu. The customer can make partial (in multiples of N1000) or full repayment from his/her account and when maturity date for repayment comes, the customer will receive a notification when he/her Xtracash loan is due.
