What is MTN BIZ Plus Bundle?

MTN BIZ Plus Bundle is a prepaid service that provides lower cost on-net GSM Voice, Data and SMS bundles targeted primarily for the SMEs. To enjoy this service, customers must migrate from their existing tariff plans to the MTN BIZ Plus Service Class where they will be able to choose and enjoy further discounts from any of the bundle products. In addition, further benefit is available when customer subscribes to the either Premium or Advantage packages, which includes one month FREE trial of one of our ICT products (Back up as a Service). Also, subscription to Smart Biz bundle attracts free daily Business Tips while subscription to SMartBiz Plus bundle offers free Smart Number registration for 30 days.

 Features

1. It allows customers move from their existing service class to the new MTN BIZ Plus service class using USSD/SMS by themselves.

2. Enables customers move from one bundle to another within the service using SMS short code or USSD by themselves.

3. Provides reduced price across data, voice and SMS on-net transactions per subscriber line.

4. The MTN BIZ Plus tariff pricing provides daily regressive pricing for national voice calls. The regressive pricing shall be based on accumulated usage (i.e. in seconds) between 04:30:01hrs and 23:59:59hrs every day.

5. A per-second call rate of NGN0.40/sec shall apply for the first 60 seconds of on-net and off-net calls for calls made anytime of the day afterward the rate shall be N0.12/sec

6. All rates are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) and shall apply for peak, off-peak and happy-hour periods – weekdays and weekends.

7. The product bundles other MTN ICT products (Back up as a Service)

8. Provides the functionality to share voice minute with employees/friends in the same service class

9. Allows data share to any MTN prepaid subscriber irrespective of the service class

10. Automatic renewal of bundle subscription with automatic rollover of bundle balances is also available

11. Voice and data share are protected by PIN.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION

1. How do I access the MTN BIZ Plus Bundle Service? The MTN BIZ Plus Bundle is a GSM product that requires you to follow the steps below to access your preferred bundle service. It is required that one migrates first to MTN Biz Plus Service Class before accessing any of the bundles a. On your mobile device with MTN lines, b. Dial *460*1# on your phone or SMS 460 to 131 to migrate to the MTN BIZ Plus Service Class c. After successful migration, dial *460*2# to access bundles and select any bundle of choice or send the appropriate number via SMS short code number to enjoy your preferred service. See subscription plan above for appropriate SMS/USSD entry code to choose from

2. How do I pay for the service? The service will be paid for using the customer’s airtime

3. Will I be charged for dialing *460*1# to migrate to the service? No charges apply for dialing the access code. Customer shall have ability to move in and out of service by themselves via short code for free. Note however that customer shall be charged N100 when s/he migrates to another service within 30 days after the previous migration

4. Can I move in and out of bundle at any time during the month? Yes, provided customer has exhausted any of the three offers in the bundle i.e. customer must have exhausted either his sms or voice or data offer to be eligible for new subscription.

 5. Will the packages work with MTN fixed/ wired lines? Not at the moment, however we are working to make this available very soon

6. What happens if I run out of bundle? Customers that run out of the bundle service can re-subscribe at any time even if the 30days validity has not elapsed. New subscription will avail new 30 day validity to the customer for the service.

7. If I still have voice minutes, SMSs or Data units left just before I renew the service, will the balance units be carried over to the following month? Yes, balances on the bundles will be rolled over if automatic renewal takes place successfully.

8. If I am on a Post Paid service like Closed User Group (CUG), can I migrate to the MTN BIZ Plus Bundle? No. The customer is not allowed to opt out of this service class by themselves. To opt out, you will need to send request to your account partner or call 0803 10 21600 for assistance

9. Who is it for? MTN BIZ Plus Bundle is targeted at: • Small and Medium Businesses

10. Is MTN BIZ Plus Bundle a prepaid or postpaid service? MTN BIZ Bundle is currently available as a prepaid service

11. How does the customer register for the service? Once the customer makes an enquiry or is marketed to by the sales team, the customer subscribes to the service by following the steps in point 1 above

12. How does the customer renew his account? Service is auto renewable. Customer is required to fund his MSISDN before service expiry so that auto renewal and auto rollover can take place where applicable

13. How do I know when my service will auto renew? The system will notify customer 48hrs before service expiry. This will enable customer to ensure account is funded so that auto renewal can take place.

14. What happens if auto renewal fails? Customer will be notified (if failure is due to insufficient credit). Auto rollover will not be available and customer can come back to service by sending the right keyword to 131 or by dialing *460*2#

15. How do I check my bundle balance? Customer can send 2s to 131 to get information on his/her bundle balance

16. Can beneficiary check his balance? Beneficiary of voice or data share can check his/her balance by sending ‘2v’ to 131 for voice balance or by sending ‘2d’ to 131 for data balance

17. Does the discounted rate apply to international call? Yes. The discounted rates also apply to international calls. Customer is allowed to choose only one destination to call at any one time from the 19 countries.

To select the choice of international destination for discounted call rate enter *318# on your phone and send. 18. How do I choose my preferred international country? To choose your preferred country, type ADD SELECT ‘country’ in your SMS and send to 131. For example, to select Australia, you type ADD SELECT AUS and SMS to 131 19. Can I change my preferred international country to another one? Yes you can change to another international country. To change to a new country, choose your preferred country, type UPDATE SELECT ‘country’ in your SMS and send to 131. For example, to select USA, you type UPDATE SELECT USA and SMS to 131. Please note that your initial selection which was Australia in this case will cease to exist and will be replaced by USA Troubleshooting Tips If the customer is experiencing difficulty with using the service, the customer should call Customer Care on 0803 10 21600 for assistance.
